Quote:

SECTION 13.
a. Economic discrimination based on race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or sex is strictly prohibited.

b. Forum members participating in the regional economy shall not be denied employment, goods, or services, except for legitimate and reasonable purposes, based on any one of the following:
  • Religion
  • Sexual orientation
  • Nationality
  • Political affiliation
c. The Bank Director, the regional government, and the forum staff shall share responsibility for enforcing nondiscrimination in the regional economy. If necessary, an offended party shall have the right to sue anybody who illegally discriminates against him; and appropriate judicial relief shall be granted.

PS: No, I'm never going to stop bringing this up until something is passed. Call me an SJW or whatever--I don't care. I just want to see if this Senate thinks that this, or another, amended version is passable, which I'd argue it is.

So if I said no to a gay person (which they don't have to say they are) for entry into a religious group with a membership fee. Would I get in trouble for expressing my religious views? Which would trump which, Religion or Sexual orientation?

No, I'm not going to stop advocating for a rational policy to protect against discrimination.

Is this necessary though? I don't think Right to Life has had any problems with discrimination before.

Doesn't mean we won't. This is preventative

I don't think this will happen in RTL though. We are pretty accepting and people don't have to reveal their religion, sexual orientation, nationality, or political affiliation to play Nationstates.

Regions change. While Right to Life is non-discriminatory, we ought to have a way to handle cases that pop up. As for your second point, those that choose to do so shouldn't have to endure ridicule.

I don't think RTL will ever become discriminatory, but if people don't want to be ridiculed online, then they shouldn't reveal their personal info online.
